Learn Britain currently offers a free study preview without accounts, payments or advertising. Paid access is not open yet. You can reach a real person at oliver@betaglobal.uk.

Study progress

Your answers, daily goal, test date and mock history are stored in your browser on this device. They are not sent to an account while sign-in is unavailable. You can erase them by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.

What reaches our hosting provider

• Technical request data — such as IP address, browser information, requested page and time, processed by Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site.
• Launch measurement — a random session identifier, the first valid src campaign label, and whether this browser session loaded the feed, opened pricing or confirmed £25 purchase intent. We do not collect an email or card number for this measurement.
• No account or payment data — the current public preview does not ask for an email address or card details.

Why it is processed

Technical request data is used to serve the pages, prevent abuse and keep the service secure. Launch measurement is used only to understand whether visitors want the proposed one-off course. We do not sell personal data or use advertising trackers.

How long launch measurement is kept

Raw launch events are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted after aggregate counts have been recorded. The random identifier lasts only for the current browser session. To ask for earlier deletion, email oliver@betaglobal.uk with the approximate date, time and campaign link you used; we will explain what can be located without asking you for more data than necessary.

Your rights

Data protection rights can include access, correction, erasure and objection. To exercise any of them, email oliver@betaglobal.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Account controls will be added before any personal account data is collected.

Cookies and local storage

The free preview does not use advertising cookies. It uses local storage for study progress and preferences, session storage for the random launch-measurement identifier and campaign label, and a service worker cache so the app shell loads reliably.
