Study storage

Your answers, progress, goals, saved lessons and display preferences stay in local storage until you reset or clear them. The service worker caches app files for reliable loading. These features support your learning and work with analytics switched off.

Privacy preference

lituk.privacy.v1 remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics for 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice lasts only on the current page.

Optional analytics

After acceptance, lituk.smoke.session stores a random session ID and lituk.smoke.cohort stores a campaign label in session storage. We send these with learning-activity and course-interest events to our own server, which may forward the limited event to PostHog Cloud EU. There are no advertising trackers, PostHog browser scripts, PostHog cookies, automatic click capture or session recordings.

Optional beta study

Separately enabling beta activity in Preferences stores lituk.beta.v1, a random installation identifier used to count returns and lesson completion across sessions. Turning beta activity or analytics off removes this identifier. Beta events are kept for up to 180 days; see the privacy policy.

Rejecting analytics removes those two session entries and stops future events. It keeps your study progress. Previously received events follow the retention periods in our privacy policy.
